    What Cambridge homeowners say

"I've been having Evaldas from ELawnCare doing my garden for over a year now and I can't fault him. It's a big lawn and a high hedge and he does a good job of both. He puts a lot of effort in to his work and he doesn't cut corners or rush."

"ELawnCare was very efficient, left the garden in a brilliant state especially as we were about to sell our house. The photos of the garden looked amazing and the people who viewed left very positive comments about the neatness and beauty of it! A brilliant worker!"

    COMMON QUESTIONS

    Frequently asked questions

Mowing starts at £20 per 100m², with a £40 minimum visit. Strimming and edging adds £12, or £28 an hour on its own. A monthly plan takes 10% off recurring work. Overgrown first cuts carry a 50% surcharge for that visit only.

CB1 through CB25, covering Cambridge and the surrounding Cambridgeshire villages. There is no callout charge inside 8 miles. Beyond that it is a £25 flat travel charge or 50p per mile, whichever works out better for you.

Yes. Most customers begin with a one-off tidy-up, then switch to a monthly plan once the garden is at a good standard. Ongoing visits cost less than repeated rescue jobs, and monthly contracts carry a 10% discount on recurring services.

Yes, £2 million public liability cover, and proof is available on request before work starts. Every job is carried out personally by the owner rather than subcontracted, which is what keeps the standard consistent visit to visit.

Use the online quote form and you get a price in about 60 seconds. For fencing, patios and larger landscaping projects, request a free in-person visit instead so the work can be measured and quoted properly.

Every one to two weeks from March to October, and weekly through May and June when growth peaks. Removing more than a third of the blade in one cut stresses the grass, which is why neglected lawns look yellow after a first cut.

March to April, or September to October. Both give warm soil and reliable moisture for new seed to root. Cambridgeshire is one of the driest counties in the UK, so the autumn window is usually the safer of the two.

Cash or bank transfer after the visit. There is no deposit for a quote and no obligation. You do not need to be home during a visit either, as long as there is access to the garden.
