Patio & Driveway Wash
Pressure washing for patios, paths and drives. Moss and black spot lifted, joints re-sanded.
£80 minimum visit · re-sanding included
Patio laying costs depend on the size, materials, and ground preparation needed. ELawnCare charges £70 per m² for patio tiling labour across Cambridge. This covers laying on a prepared base, cutting to fit, and pointing. Tiles or slabs are supplied separately by the customer. A 20m² patio would cost £1,400 in labour plus materials.
For existing patios that just need refreshing, jet washing is available at £4 per m² with an £80 minimum. Coverage spans CB1 to CB25 with no callout charge within 8 miles. The business carries £2 million public liability insurance.

Labour: £70 per m² for laying. This includes cutting tiles to fit edges and pointing joints. Sub-base preparation, if the ground needs excavating and a hardcore base laying, is quoted separately. Slab or tile supply varies hugely: budget porcelain starts around £20 per m², natural stone runs £40 to £80 per m².
A 15m² patio with budget tiles costs roughly £1,350 labour plus £300 materials, totalling around £1,650. The same area with premium natural stone could reach £2,250 or more.
If the patio is structurally sound but dirty, jet washing at £4 per m² with an £80 minimum is far cheaper than relaying. Most patios clean up well with a professional pressure wash. ELawnCare uses commercial equipment that delivers a better result than domestic pressure washers.

Jet washing is £4 per m² with an £80 minimum. A 20m² patio costs £80. A 40m² patio costs £160. This is usually the best option if the patio slabs are in good condition but discoloured by algae, moss, or weathering. Results are immediately visible.
Most patios in the UK do not need planning permission unless they are in a front garden over 5m², raised above ground level, or in a conservation area. Building regulations may apply if drainage is affected. Check with your local planning authority for specific guidance.
