"I've been having Evaldas from ELawnCare doing my garden for over a year now and I can't fault him. It's a big lawn and a high hedge and he does a good job of both. He puts a lot of effort in to his work and he doesn't cut corners or rush."

N.W."ELawnCare was very efficient, left the garden in a brilliant state especially as we were about to sell our house. The photos of the garden looked amazing and the people who viewed left very positive comments about the neatness and beauty of it! A brilliant worker!"
W.L."Been very happy with ELawnCare whenever we have required them."
D.C.Why there are not hundreds of these
ELawnCare has been trading since 2024 and every job is carried out by one person. That caps how many gardens get done in a week, which caps how many people can leave a review. The count here is small and real rather than large and bought.
Every review on this page came through Google, where the reviewer's name and history are public and anyone can check them. None were solicited with a discount, none were written in exchange for anything, and none have been edited. If a review had been critical it would still be on the Google profile, because reviews there cannot be deleted by the business.
How to judge a gardener you have not met
- Ask for proof of public liability insurance. ELawnCare carries £2 million and will send the certificate before any work starts. A gardener who cannot produce one is a risk to your fence, your greenhouse and your neighbour's property.
- Ask whether the person quoting will do the work. Subcontracted jobs are where standards slip between visits. Here it is the same person every time.
- Ask for the price in writing before the first visit. Every rate is published: £20 per 100m² for mowing, £4 per metre for hedges up to 2m, £28 an hour for hand weeding, £40 minimum visit.
- Check the reviews mention specifics. Reviews naming the actual work, the garden and the person are harder to fake than a page of five-star ratings with no detail.
Already a customer?
Leaving a review takes about a minute and it genuinely decides whether a Cambridge homeowner searching for a gardener ever sees this business at all. Mentioning what the work was, mowing, hedges, a clearance, and roughly where in Cambridge you are, helps more than a rating on its own.
