What decking installation involves
A proper sub-frame set on concrete pad or post footings is what determines whether a deck stays level and solid for years or starts to sag and bounce within a season. Ground preparation, checking drainage underneath and setting the frame correctly, takes up a good share of the total time on any decking project.
Decking boards are then laid, cut to fit the space, and finished with edging or a balustrade where the deck is raised enough to need one.
