    What a garden tidy-up includes

A standard tidy-up covers: mowing the lawn to a good height, strimming along all edges, trimming any overgrown hedges, weeding visible border areas, and clearing debris. Cuttings and waste are stacked for green bins or disposed of for £12 extra.

The difference between a tidy-up and a clearance is the starting condition. If the garden has been maintained roughly and just needs resetting, it is a tidy-up at standard rates. If it is genuinely overgrown with brambles, nettles, or waist-high grass, it is a clearance.

    When to book a tidy-up

Before a house goes on the market. Before tenants move in. After returning from a long holiday. Before a garden party. At the start of spring to restart the growing season. Any time the garden has slipped and needs bringing back to standard.

A standard tidy-up is charged at published rates: mowing £20 per 100m², strimming £12 add-on, hedges £4 per metre, weeding £28 per hour. Minimum visit is £40. For neglected gardens needing significant work, clearance at £250 half day is more appropriate.

A small garden tidy-up takes one to two hours. A medium garden with hedges and borders takes two to three hours. Larger gardens or those with more work may take a half day. The time and cost are estimated before booking.

Yes. One-off visits are welcome and charged at the standard published rates. Monthly plans take 10% off recurring visits, but there is no obligation to commit. Many customers start with a one-off tidy and then decide about regular maintenance.
