Clearance pricing
£250 for a small clearance as a half day, £375 for a medium clearance as a full day, and from £750 for large jobs which are quoted after a look at the garden.
Overgrown first cuts inside a clearance carry the same 50% surcharge as a standalone first cut, because they take longer and are hard on equipment.
Clearance then maintenance is cheaper than repeat rescues
The expensive pattern is letting a garden run wild, paying for a clearance, then letting it run wild again. One clearance followed by fortnightly visits costs less over a year than two clearances.
That is why most customers move onto a monthly plan afterwards rather than booking ad hoc.

Yes, and they are common. If a landlord or agent has given you a deadline, say so when you request the quote and the visit is scheduled around it where possible. You do not need to be present on the day.
Cuttings and clearance waste are tidied and removed. Disposal is £12 per visit for routine work, and on larger clearances the volume is factored into the half day or full day rate rather than charged separately.
Nothing is too far gone, it just changes the pricing band. Waist-high grass, brambles and self-seeded saplings are normal clearance work. Send photos with the quote request and you will get an honest answer about the day rate needed.
