A standard visit is a cut, edges strimmed along paths, fences and beds, and cuttings cleared. Beds and borders are hand weeded on request. Hedges are trimmed on their own schedule, usually two or three times a year rather than every visit.
Cuttings disposal is £12 per visit if you have no green bin space. The minimum visit charge is £40.
Through the growing season, roughly March to October, most lawns want cutting every one to two weeks. Fortnightly suits the majority of Cambridge gardens. Through winter, visits drop to monthly or pause entirely, with a tidy-up before spring.
Mowing starts at £20 per 100m², with a £40 minimum visit. Hedge trimming is £4 per metre for hedges up to 2m and £8 per metre above that. Hand weeding is £28 an hour with a one hour minimum. A monthly plan takes 10% off recurring work.
Yes. Most customers start with a one-off tidy-up, then move to a monthly plan once the garden is at a good standard. Ongoing visits are cheaper than repeated rescue jobs, and monthly contracts carry a 10% discount on recurring services.
CB1 through CB25, which covers Cambridge and the surrounding villages, with no callout charge inside 8 miles. Beyond that there is a £25 flat travel charge or 50p per mile, whichever you prefer.
Yes, £2 million public liability cover. Proof of insurance is available on request before any work starts, and it is worth asking any gardener for the same.
Quotes are usually turned around the same day through the online form. Start dates depend on the season. Spring is the busiest period, so booking a first cut a week or two ahead is sensible from March onwards.
Overgrown first cuts carry a 50% surcharge because they take longer and are harder on equipment. For genuinely neglected gardens a clean-up is better value: £250 for a half day, £375 for a full day, quoted above that.
