Full-lawn scarification

Standalone minimum £95
One standard pass with our scarifier to remove accumulated thatch and moss. Targeted bare-spot scarification is included where needed in the £190 starting renovation package. Heavy thatch, extra passes and off-site waste removal are priced separately.
Lawn aeration
£1.80 / m²
Hand aeration under 100m² · powered from £0.85/m² for 100m²+
Standalone minimum £125
Based on 2.5 hours to hand-aerate 70m². Lawns under 100m² are hand-aerated. For larger lawns, powered aeration is available; the aerator hire and delivery are itemised in your confirmed quote.
Overseeding
£0.65 / m²
Standalone minimum £60
Grass seed and spreading included over a suitably prepared lawn. Scarification, aeration and other preparation are separate services.
Full-lawn light topdressing
£2.00 / m²
Standalone minimum £120
Suitable screened topsoil supplied and spread at approximately 5mm across the full agreed lawn area. The £190 starting renovation package uses topsoil only on bare or damaged areas. Full-lawn topdressing is an additional service; deeper repairs and levelling are individually quoted.
Guide rates are for standard work on accessible lawns up to 300m². The minimum shown is for that service booked on its own; combined work receives one written quote. For powered aeration on lawns of 100m² or more, aerator hire and delivery are itemised in the confirmed quote. Additional scarifier passes, difficult access and off-site waste removal are agreed separately. Larger or more extensive jobs are individually quoted. No guide price is a confirmed quote.

Give a tired or patchy lawn a helping hand with aeration, overseeding and targeted repairs. A typical small-lawn renovation includes aeration and overseeding across the whole lawn, scarification where needed and topsoil applied to bare or damaged areas. Grass seed and topsoil are included in your agreed quote.

We recommend the level of treatment after assessing its condition. Targeted scarification is included where needed in the starting renovation package. Full-lawn scarification is assessed and priced separately.
Topsoil is applied where needed to help prepare bare or damaged areas for new grass seed. The starting package includes targeted patch repairs, not full-lawn topdressing or levelling the whole garden. Full-lawn topdressing is assessed and priced separately.
We can help repair bare and worn areas caused by dogs. Continued wear or urine damage can affect new growth, so protecting recovering areas is important.
Yes. For lawns under 100m², hand aeration is £1.80/m² with a £125 minimum. For lawns of 100m² or more, powered aeration starts at £0.85/m²; aerator hire and delivery are itemised in your confirmed quote. The £190 renovation package is a separate service, not an aeration-only price.
Watering and protecting new growth are important. We provide aftercare advice for the treatment, including watering, keeping people and pets off recovering areas and when to resume mowing. Establishment depends on conditions and ongoing care; results and germination dates are not guaranteed.
