Hedge Trimming
Domestic hedges shaped cleanly, cuttings tidied and removed.
ELawnCare trims hedges across Coleridge and the Mill Road area at £4 per metre for hedges up to 2m and £8 per metre for taller growth. Clippings are removed from site.
Coleridge's terraced housing often has small front hedges and boundary hedging between narrow rear gardens. Privet is the most common species, with some older properties having laurel or mixed native hedging. These hedges are typically shorter but run along shared boundaries where a clean finish matters to both neighbours.

Coleridge terraces have hedges that often form the boundary between neighbouring gardens. A clean, straight cut keeps both sides looking tidy. Front garden hedges along the street are typically 1 to 1.5m and cost £4 per metre to trim.
Access in terraced properties is through side passages or rear lanes. The trimmer, waste bags, and sheets to catch clippings all need to fit through. This is standard practice for Coleridge and does not add to the cost.
Two trims per year keeps most Coleridge hedging under control: one in late May or June after spring growth, and one in September before winter. Privet grows quickly and may benefit from a third trim in July if it starts looking shaggy.
Nesting bird checks are carried out before trimming between March and August. Active nests mean that section is left alone until the birds have fledged.

Yes. Boundary hedges between Coleridge terraces are trimmed regularly. Both sides are cut where accessible. If neighbour access is needed for the far side, that is arranged beforehand.
Yes. A visual check is done before any hedge work between March and August. If an active nest is found, that section is left until the birds have fledged. This is a legal requirement.
