Garden Clean-up
Post-winter resets, end-of-tenancy clears, neglected gardens brought back to life.
Garden clearance costs depend on how overgrown the space is and how much material needs removing. ELawnCare charges £250 for a half day clearance and £375 for a full day. For very large or severely neglected gardens, a multi-day quote is provided after a site assessment. These prices include labour and equipment but not skip hire or tip fees, which are quoted separately when needed.
The service covers CB1 to CB25 with no callout charge within 8 miles. Every clearance is carried out by the owner, not subcontractors, with £2 million public liability insurance in place.

Clearing overgrown vegetation, cutting back brambles and nettles, removing dead plants, and general tidying of neglected areas. Green waste is stacked for collection or bagged for disposal. Hard waste like broken furniture, rubble, or old fencing is not included in the standard rate and is quoted separately.
For gardens that just need a seasonal tidy rather than a full clearance, a cleanup visit at the standard hourly or minimum rate may be more appropriate and cheaper.
The most common times are spring, when a neglected garden needs resetting before the growing season, and autumn, when tenants vacate rental properties. End-of-tenancy clearances are a frequent booking for landlords across Cambridge.
Booking a week or two in advance during spring is recommended as it is the busiest period. Outside spring, clearances can often be fitted in within a few days.

A tidy-up covers regular maintenance tasks like mowing, weeding, and edging on a garden that is maintained but needs attention. A clearance is for neglected or overgrown gardens requiring significant cutting back, bramble removal, and bulk waste clearing.
Yes. Overgrown garden clearance is one of the most common bookings. A half day at £250 handles most small to medium overgrown gardens. Larger properties or severely neglected gardens need a full day at £375 or a multi-day quote after a site visit.
