Lawn Mowing
Striped, healthy lawns with squared edges. From courtyard plots to country gardens.
+50% surcharge for overgrown first cuts
Lawn mowing in Cambridge costs £20 per 100m² at ELawnCare, with a £40 minimum visit charge. A typical Cambridge back garden of around 100 to 150m² would cost £40 to £45 per cut. Strimming and edging adds £12 when combined with a mow, or costs £28 per hour as a standalone service. Cuttings disposal is an extra £12 if you have no green bin space.
Monthly plans take 10% off all recurring visits. Overgrown first cuts where the grass is above ankle height carry a 50% surcharge for the initial visit only. After that, you go straight onto the standard rate for all future visits.

Crisp finished edges along paths, fences, and beds. Add to a mow or book on its own.
Under 200m²: £40 minimum visit covers the cut. 200m² to 400m²: roughly £40 to £80 per cut. 400m² to 800m²: roughly £80 to £160. Above 800m², a site visit quote is recommended because access, obstacles, and slopes affect the time. These prices include a striped finish and squared edges.
Strimming along paths, fences, and beds is £12 added to any mow. Standalone strimming without a mow is £28 per hour. Cuttings are cleared as standard; disposal is £12 extra if there is no green bin.
The simplest way is a monthly plan, which takes 10% off every visit. Fortnightly cuts through the growing season cost less overall than letting the lawn grow long and needing extra passes. Keeping on top of it also avoids the 50% overgrown surcharge.
ELawnCare charges £20 per 100m² for lawn mowing in Cambridge, with a £40 minimum visit. Strimming adds £12 to a mow. Cuttings disposal is £12 if needed. Monthly plans take 10% off. These are fixed published rates, not estimates that change on arrival.
ELawnCare offers mowing from £20 per 100m² with a £40 minimum, and monthly plans take a further 10% off. The service is owner-run, fully insured with £2 million liability cover, and covers CB1 to CB25 with no callout charge within 8 miles.
Fortnightly is cheaper overall because it halves the number of visits. However, in May and June when growth peaks, weekly cuts prevent the lawn from getting too long between visits, which avoids scalping and keeps the lawn healthier through summer.
