What fencing work includes
New fence installations along full boundaries, replacement of damaged or rotten panels, individual post replacement where concrete has cracked or timber has snapped, and repairs to rails and gravel boards. Old fencing is removed and disposed of as part of the job.
Labour starts at £100 per panel for standard 6ft close-board or lap panels. Taller runs, stepped installations on sloping ground and concrete post work are quoted after the site visit.
Materials and quoting
Materials are priced separately after seeing the site. Timber quality, post type and ground conditions all affect the cost, so a phone estimate would be a guess. The written quote shows labour and materials on separate lines.
