Established Waterbeach gardens
Older plots in the village often have generous lawns and boundary hedges that have had years to grow. Fortnightly mowing at £20 per 100m² through the season and two or three hedge cuts a year at £4 per metre keeps them in order without a heavy monthly bill.
Strimming and edging at £12 added to a mow tidies along fences, beds and paths. Hand weeding at £28 an hour covers gravel drives and front areas without chemicals.
New-build garden setup
Builder turf rarely lasts more than a season because the ground underneath is compacted subsoil. Proper turfing at £9 per m² labour with turf at cost includes stripping the old surface, improving the ground and laying fresh turf that actually roots.
