Lawn Mowing
Striped, healthy lawns with squared edges. From courtyard plots to country gardens.
+50% surcharge for overgrown first cuts
ELawnCare covers Fulbourn on regular routes. The village sits east of Cambridge with larger rural-edge plots than you find inside the city. A mix of period cottages, inter-war houses and modern builds gives the village a range of garden styles and sizes.
Some Fulbourn properties back onto open countryside, which means longer boundaries, more exposure to wind and a tendency for the wilder edges of the garden to creep inward. Regular visits and seasonal hedge work keep those boundaries defined without letting the countryside reclaim the lawn.

Properties along Stonebridge Lane, Balsham Road and the village edges often have plots that extend well beyond a typical Cambridge garden. Mowing at £20 per 100m² scales straightforwardly for larger lawns. Boundary hedges that separate garden from field want cutting two or three times a year to hold their line.
Hand weeding at £28 an hour tackles the borders and paths. In exposed positions, weeds from adjacent farmland and verges seed in faster than in sheltered town gardens, so regular attention through the growing season pays for itself in avoided clearance work later.
Boundary fencing on rural-edge plots takes more weather than sheltered town gardens. Panel replacement at £100 per panel labour is the most common request. For exposed runs, close-board fencing holds up better than standard panels and is quoted after a site visit alongside materials.
